Full day Trip from Fez to Chefchaouen

Discover the blue-washed city of Chefchaouen on this day trip from Fez. Allow time to explore sights such as the Kasbah Museum and the Grand Mosque. Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and have the option to choose between a group or private tour, however, please note that the drive from Fez to Chefchaouen takes between 4 hours or so each way.

The tour will begin with pickup from your hotel in Fez. After boarding your private vehicle, head to Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains near Tangier.

On arrival, marvel at the incredible blue ramparts that make this city famous. Enjoy around 4 hours to explore the picturesque streets of the small medina town.

If you opt for the private tour, you will have the luxury of deciding how you would like to spend your time, as there are plenty of activities to choose from. You can discover the local shops and cafes and see the main square known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam.

To experience some culture, you can head to the Kasbah Museum, the Grand Mosque or the Ethnographic Museum, which contains musical instruments, ancient weapons and photographs of the old town. You can also stop at the Ras Elma River which runs through the old town. For lunch, you can eat in the square or on the rooftop terrace, which offers panoramic views of Chefchaouen (not included at your own expense). In the late afternoon, you will return to Fez.
