Day 1 : Fez - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Start your unforgettable 3-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech when we pick you up from your riad/hotel. Our journey begins by driving south through the captivating Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane and Azrou.

We will stop in the cedar forests, where you can observe the fascinating barbarian apes in their natural habitat. Continuing through the picturesque Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt, you will witness the magnificent Ziz Gorges, which have been carved into the volcanic rock. As you go deeper, the landscape gradually reveals hints of the desert.

We will continue our expedition through the enchanting Ziz Valley, heading towards Erfoud, Rissani and finally Merzouga. Upon arrival, a refreshing glass of mint tea awaits you before we safely store your luggage. Then, get ready for an unforgettable camel ride to a Berber camp located in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest dunes in North Africa. The camel ride to the camp takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and takes us to traditional Berber tents that are well equipped with comfortable mattresses, cozy blankets and cushions.

As evening falls, we will gather for a delicious dinner, followed by a lovely gathering around the crackling fire, where the rhythmic beats of traditional Berber drums will fill the air under a blanket of stars. This concludes the first day of our extraordinary desert trip from Fes to Marrakech.

Day 2 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

Watch the stunning sunrise over the mesmerizing sea of ​​dunes before enjoying a delicious breakfast and a refreshing shower at the camp. To continue our journey, you have the option of returning to Merzouga by camel or by 4x4 vehicle.

From there, we will bid farewell to the Sahara Desert and head towards Tinghir, a captivating Berber village known as “the mountain city” in Tamazight. Prepare to be enchanted by the striking contrast between the lush palm trees and the unique hues of the village houses, as we embark on a panoramic route showcasing the diverse beauty of the landscape.

Our next destination is the Todra Gorges, where towering rock walls reach heights of over 200 metres. Take your time to explore this remarkable natural wonder before continuing our journey to the Dades Valley, another picturesque Berber village famous for its magnificent gorges and breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, now beautifully visible on the horizon.

Day 3 : Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech

On the final day of our extraordinary 3-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech, we will drive through the captivating landscapes of the Dades Valley and the Valley of the Roses before arriving at the charming town of Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, we will have the opportunity to explore the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, a historic gem that showcases the region's rich architectural heritage.

Continuing our journey, we will venture approximately 25 kilometers to gaze upon the imposing Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic monument has served as the backdrop for numerous acclaimed films, including the Oscar-winning classics "Lawrence of Arabia," "The Sheltering Sky," and "Babel."

As we hit the road once again, we will cross the magnificent Tizi N-Tichka Pass, which offers stunning views of the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Picturesque landscapes will accompany us as we approach our final destination, the vibrant “Red City” of Marrakech, where it will be time to say goodbye to our expert guide.
