Day 1: Zagora - Agdz - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate
- Start early (around 7:00 AM) from Zagora to enjoy the morning views of the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley, famous for its palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and Berber villages.
- Stop in Agdz, a small town with beautiful kasbahs. Visit Kasbah Tamnougalt, a historical fortress offering great photo opportunities.
- Drive along the scenic Draa Valley, stopping for photos and enjoying the changing landscapes from oasis to rocky hills.
- Continue toward Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco" due to its famous film studios.
- Arrive in Ouarzazate around 12:30 PM, check into your hotel/guesthouse, and take a lunch break.
Afternoon : Exploring Ouarzazate
- Atlas Film Studios: Visit this legendary film studio where movies like Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones were filmed.
- Kasbah Taourirt: One of Morocco’s most well-preserved kasbahs, once home to the powerful Glaoui family.
- Fint Oasis (optional): A beautiful hidden oasis just outside Ouarzazate, perfect for a short excursion if time allows.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka – Marrakech
- Depart after breakfast and head towards Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Spend 1.5–2 hours exploring the kasbah, an ancient fortress made of red clay, which has been featured in movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones.
- Walk up to the highest point of the kasbah for panoramic views of the Ounila Valley.
- Enjoy a tea break or early lunch at Maison d’Hôte Kasbah Tebi or La Terrazza.
- Begin the scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m altitude).
- Stop at scenic viewpoints along the route to capture breathtaking mountain landscapes.
- Visit Argan oil cooperatives along the way, where you can see traditional oil-making processes.
Afternoon : Arrival in Marrakech
- Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon (around 4:00–5:00 PM).
- Drop off at your hotel/riad and relax after the long drive.
