10 days from Marrakech passing by Zagora and Essaouira

Day 1 : Marrakech Airport

First day of arrival and overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 2 : Marrakech - Ouarzazate

Starting in the morning in the direction of Ouarzazate and along the way, discovering the mountains of the High Atlas, villages, beautiful landscapes, and geography. Stopping to take photos at the Tizi n’Tichka peak, which reaches 2,260 meters in altitude, then heading to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, known for producing international films. Visiting and getting to know it up close, then going to Ouarzazate and visiting the film studio there, then heading to the hotel.

Day 3 : Ouarzazate - Dades

Starting towards the Boumalne Dades area. Along the way, visiting a women's cooperative that produces local rose-based products in an area known for growing roses in the valley. Then heading to discover a view of the High Atlas Mountains, specifically the Tisdrine bends, stopping there to take photos, and then returning to the hotel.

Day 4 : Dades - Zagora

Heading to visit the beautiful Todra Gorges, a region known for mountaineering adventures and its rugged geographical landscapes. Then crossing through the Saghro Mountains of the Small Atlas, which also has a geographical nature full of ancient volcanic rocks that create stunning and wonderful views. Continuing to the Draa Valley, full of palm trees, which is among the longest rivers in Morocco, stretching up to 1,100 km from the High Atlas Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, passing through the middle of the Moroccan Sahara Desert.

Day 5 : Zagora - Erg Chigaga

On this day, heading to visit the desert through the area of M’Hamid El Ghizlane. Before that, visiting the village of Tamgroute, known for its green pottery industry, where you can visit handicraft factories to learn more about this product, which is considered one of the best in Morocco for its quality and reliability. After reaching M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the adventure of passing through sand dunes and the desert's geographical nature begins before reaching the camp.

Day 6 : Erg Chigaga

A full day in the desert to enjoy the beautiful nature of the sand dunes. After breakfast, visiting a Nomad family to get acquainted with the life of this group of people who still resist the harshness of nature either for their love of the land or due to financial conditions that do not allow them to seek an alternative. Returning to the camp to enjoy a camel ride and sunset, then spending the night at the camp.

Day 7 : Erg Chigaga - Taroudant

Starting to complete the journey through the desert to a dry lake that was once known for nomadic settlements before years of drought stopped it. Stopping for coffee in the town of Foum Zguid and passing by Taznakht, a Berber town famous for weaving the most beautiful handmade rugs crafted by the women of the region. Visiting one of the women's cooperatives to learn more about this craft before heading to the walled city of Taroudant, known as "Little Marrakech."

Day 8 : Taroudant - Essaouira

Heading to the beautiful and quiet city of Essaouira. Along the way, crossing through different natural areas, stopping in the coastal city of Agadir before taking the coastal road toward Essaouira. Along the way, passing through forests of argan trees, where it is possible to see goats climbing these trees, which are rich in argan fruits. Visiting women’s cooperatives that produce cosmetic products from argan oil, a product unique to Morocco.

Day 9 : Essaouira

A free day in Essaouira to enjoy the tranquility and atmosphere of this beautiful city and learn more about its historical monuments, Portuguese and Moroccan architecture.

Day 10 : Essaouira - Marrakech

Heading to the city of Marrakech. This marks the end of the trip, with our wish that you had a pleasant journey full of enjoyment.
